Back to School

When I think of this time of year, I think of Fall.  Although we all love summer, there's something so comforting about Fall.  Aaahhhh, the weather is perfect, the colors are warm, and football season is finally here where Sunday rituals consist of watching games all day and lounging around eating home cooked meals and taking naps! There's also something to be said about getting back into a routine after taking vacations and beach days. Sending the kids back to school is one of those routines I look forward to (and that means more time for me). One thing I struggle with the most is trying to feed my 3 year old a good variety of healthy foods. His menu consists of only a short list of things like, PB&J sandwich, chicken fingers, pasta, mac & cheese, oh and anything sweet right? I'm sure you can all relate. But after doing my diligent research through Pinterest, I discovered there is a way to make their food fun. I'm going to attempt these designs in his lunch box for when he starts Pre-School, hoping he will be excited to try these new nutritious foods. Although it may look difficult, with a little preparation, I think I can pull this off.
